: Printed on mount: "Kenneth (11) and Clinton (13) Pierce, sons of Walter Pierce, farmer near Hutchinson, Kansas, can keep up their basketball from at home, with a basket on the side of the concrete grain elevator. In addition to livestock and crop projects of their own, the boys help their father, who produced the very first Pawnee wheat crop ever grown. The Pawnee strain, a large, high-yield grain goes into the flour used in the baking of Wonder Bread. (The scene occurs in The Rising Wonder broadcast, on page 13 of the script)" ....
