: Printed on border: "1/9 nat. size" "Whatever doubt there may be as to the right of the Indian wolf to specific distinction, there can be none in the case of the coyote, or prairie-wolf, of North America. This animal is considerably smaller than the common wolf, from which it is distinquished by thicker and longer fur and more bushy tail."
