: Printed on border: "On December 5 a special Court-martial began the trial of Admiral Nebogatoff and his officers for surrendering his squadron to the Japanese. The court called Admiral Rojdestvensky, but would not allow him to speak except on certain chances of the surrender. Rojdestvensky said that the two Admirals ought to bear the consequences of the surrender, and protested against the punishment of subordinate officers who merely obeyed ....
