: Written on border: "Jy. 25, 1891" Printed on border: "…with which it is trimmed was designed by the late prince consort for the queen. The queen gave it to her daughter Princess Christian for her wedding dress, and she, in her turn, is now transmitting it to her daughter. The sleeves are of the lace, simply turned under at the edge."
