: Printed on border: "T. III." "Pl. XXXVII." Written on border: "Ceres wearing a talaric tunic and peplos holds a phial and sceptre topped with a palmette. Coré, her daughter, holds two flaming torches. The fluted Doric column indicates the interior of the Eleusinian temple. This is probably a funerary offering to the manes or spirits of the Jeadi Hamilton collection." Image has foxing.
