Summary: As a young boy Jean would misbehave and steal candies from the kitchen; his mother told him not to touch; when he was older his mother caught him kissing the cook and again admonished him not to touch; now he is older, still likes sweets; the narrator recalls that Jean tried to misbehave with her so she had to tell him not to touch.
