"Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1850 by Perris & Hutchinson, in the Clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York." Note 3.) Includes classified key to places of interest, view of New York Harbor and lower Manhattan, and decorative cartouche and border. Note 4.) "This map is (by permission) respectfully dedicated to the Mayor and Common Council of the City of New York."
