Gutman, manufacturer & importer of musical instrumetns, strings, &c., no. 3 Ave A corner firs, near Houston St., New York. Note 3.) Summary: In stereotyped ethnic language, the narrator describes a black man who goes to heaven but finds the "golden gate" locked; he comes back down to earth to tell his fellow congregation, who are upset about the situation; they resolve to steal the padlock from the gate.
