: Cover includes drawn illustrations depicting a group of soldiers welcoming a recruit; soldiers examing the dead soldiers; a solder breaking the news to the soldier's mother. Background of cover includes a United States flag and rifle; illustration belows shows recruit carrying the flag as he is wounded. Note 2.) On cover: Sung with great success by Raymon Moore. Cover includes photograph of Raymon Moore. Note 3.) Summary: During a military battle, the captain notes that the flag has fallen and asks for a volunteer to raise it; the young recruit who volunteers raises it but is shot, and his dying words are for others to remember him to his mother, and give his love to her.
