: Border of cover has silhouettes depicting various Mother Goose tales: Bo-Peep, the old woman who lived ina shoe, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Jill, Litle Boy Blue, Jack Horner, Mother Hubbard, Contrary Mary, and the mouse that ran up the clock. In center, Mother Goose rides a broomstick with 2 geese nearby, while a cow jumps over the moon. Note 2.) Contains 16 bars of piano (only) music labeled "Dance" after chorus. Note 3.) Cover gives primacy to title: Tales of Mother Goose; caption gives primacy to title: Bo-Peep. Note 4.) On cover: Introduced in Junius Howe's production of Edgar Smith and Louis De Lange's musical extravaganza Mother Goose at the 14trh Street Theatre, New York. Note 5.) Summary: Bo-Peep mentions numerous nursery rhymes as an introduction to praising childhood.
