: [Chu Hap Roo] Built in the 20th year of Sookjong (1694), this pavilion was used for royal entertainment and recreation. The small gate called Usoo [Eusu] Moon or Fish Water Gate is a curiousity from the architecture known for its two single pillars supporting the roof. It is complete in symmetry and balance, excelling in simplicity and esthetic value. During the 1623 rebellon, the Queen of Kwanghai-kun hid herself from the rebels near this ....
