: [Dai Jo Chun] This Palace includes the private chambers of the King and Queen. Five Kings (Sungjong, 9th; Injo, 16th; Hyojong, 17th; Chuljojing, 25th and Soonjong, 27th) died in this palace. Fist built in 1404, destroyed in 1592, rebuilt in 1609 and 1804, and renovated in 1908.
