Indicates the track of the Hudson River Railroad and the "line surveyed but not adopted." Chartered in 1846 and consolidated with New York Central Railroad. See entries 486-488. Note 2.) "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1848 by G. Snyder in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York." Note 3.) Description derived from published bibliography. Note 4.) Includes profile of the rail line. Note 5.)
