: Note the leather clothing worn by U-boat crews at sea and the beards grown by many men during deployments when fresh water for personal uses (like shaving) was scarce. Note 2.) Picture caption: "Die deutsche Kriegsmarine kämpft dagegen ritterlich und mit großem Erfolg. Das U-Boot des käpitanleutnants Schultze konnte bis zum 28.
