The "Robert Ley" was a KdF (Kraft durch Freude = "Strength through Joy") cruise ship named after the leader of the Reich's official labor union. She was the sister ship of the "Wilhelm Gustloff", sunk by a Russian submarine with up to 8,000 lives lost in the greatest sea disaster in history Note 3.) Title translates German picture caption
