Juli gab der Führer vor dem Deutschen Reichstag im Beisein des italienischen Außenministers Graf Ciano seinen Bericht über den Feldzug in Frankriech und appellierte zum letztenmal ,,an die Vernunft in England". Note 2.) Title translates German picture caption Note 3.) Hitler said that he wanted peace with Britain and would let her keep her overseas empire if England would accept Germany's conquests in Europe. Propaganda Minister Goebbels is at center, behind Reichs Marshal Goering (shaking hands with Hitler).
