: Picture caption: "Am 4. September eröffnete der Führer das 2. Kriegswinterhilfswerk. In seiner Rede versicherte er den Engländern, sie sollen sich beruhigen, wir kämen! Zum letztenmal warnte er vor der gewissenlosen Bombardierung deutscher Arbeiterwohnungen." Note 2.) Winter Relief was an annual charity drive which collected money and donations of food, clothing and fuel to help poor people get through the cold months. Note 3.)
