: Picture caption: "In Anerkennung der absoluten Ueberlegenheit der deutschen Wehrmacht sieht sich Warschau zur Uebergabe gezwungen. In den Skoda-Motorenwerken--acht kilometer vor Warschau--finden die Uebergabeverhandlungen der ehemaligen polnischen Hauptstadt unter Leitung von General Blaskowitz statt." Note 2.) The Polish officers sit with their backs to the camera, the one on the left wearing the traditional Polish soldier's hat ("czapka") with its four-pointed crown. Skoda is a Czech industrial firm which produces heavy machinery and vehicles. Note 3.) Title translates German picture caption
