: Blemishes on image. Note 2.) In order to stir feelings against Poland, German propaganda played up attacks on ethnic Germans living there. While there were indeed such attacks, they were nowhere near as numerous or co-ordinated as the Germans claimed. Note 3.) Picture caption: "Unter riesiger Anteilnahme des ganzen Landes wird in Ansbach der durch polnische Mörderhand erschlagene Volksgenosse Alois Sornik beigesetzt." Note 4.) Title translates German picture caption
