Handwritten on verso: The man is C.Y. Lee, author of the "Flower Drum Song." The girl holding the bottle of saki is Lily Valentine, newly crowned "Miss Pacific Festival." The girls in costume are members of the famous St. Mary's Girls Drum Corp. which won this year's top prize in the Rose Bowl Parade. The occasion is the unveiling of Rodgers and Hammerstein's billboard in San Francisco Chinatown.
