The girl holding the bottle of saki is Lily Valentine, newly crowned "Miss Pacific Festival." The girls in costume are members of the famous St. Mary's Girls Drum Corp. which won this year's top prize in the Rose Bowl Parade. The occasion is the unveiling of Rodgers and Hammerstein's billboard in San Francisco Chinatown. Note 3.) Photograph by Kem Lee Studio (San Francisco, Calif.) Note 4.) Richard Rodgers project. Production Notes

: Opened December 1, 1958 and ran until May 7, 1960 at the St. James Theater. Directed by Gene Kelly, the cast included Miyoshi Umeki, Keye Luke, Arabella Hong, Pat Suzuki, Larry Blyden, Ed Kenney, and Juanita Hall.
