Production Notes

: Opened at the Alvin Theater on November 23, 1938 after tryouts in New Haven and Boston and ran for 235 performances. Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, and book by George Abbott based on a Shakespeare's play Comedy of Errors. It starred Eddie Albert, Ronald Graham, Teddy Hart, Jimmy Savo, Muriel Angelus and Marcy Westcott.
