: Opened at the Alvin Theater on November 2, 1937 and transferred to the Music Box Theater where it ran for 290 performances. Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Lorenz Hart, book by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman. It starred George M. Cohan as Franklin Roosevelt.
