Production Notes

: Cast member Natalia Makarova was injured during Dec. 1982 previews in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center; she and dancing partner George de la Pena were replaced by Valentina Kozlova Leonid Kozlov. For the Broadway opening at the Virginia Theater, March 6, 1983, Makarova and de la Pena returned. Cast included: Christine Andreas, George S. Irving, Dina Merrell, Philip Arthur Ross, Betty Ann Grove and Lara Teeter. The revival played on Broadway until May 20, 1984.
