: Written on border: "Arch of Constantine, Rome ; drawn early 1800s." Stains and red spots on image. Damage to edges. Note 2.) The Arch of Constantine was erected to commemorate Constantine I's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge on October 28, 312 AD. It was dedicated in 315.
