: Printed on border: "In our no. 77, we engraved a new cap proposed to be substituted for that now worn by our infantry. The new pattern does not appear to have been generally approved of, and that now represented has been manufactured by Mr. Lock, of St. James's-street, to supersede the proposed one. It is, certainly, of more handsome form : the cap is covered with black cloth, the crown and brim being of black varnished leather; in front is ....
