The twenty-four week tour featurning Rudolf Nureyev as the King and Liz Robertson as Anna opened in Toronto, August 29, 1989, and ended in San Francisco in February 1990. Locations included Baltimore, Boston, Ottawa, Tampa, Seattle, Costa Mesa, and Los Angeles, but not New York City.
